Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney was born Amal Alamuddin in Lebanon is a Lebanese and British barrister, who has been a human rights advocate over the years. She graduated from Oxford University and New York University School of Law her extensive and impressive career in the fields of international law and human rights has earned her acclaim internationally. Her high-profile clients have included several nation-states including the country of Armenia in its fight to be recognized as the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney arranged for American actor George Clooney to marry him in the year 2014 and immediately became a household name in pop entertainment. Years before this though she was well-known and loved by legal professionals for consistently representing her clients with skill and great success. Her job is to represent multinational firms during court hearings and discussions concerning government regulations as well as social justice or human rights. Since 2015, she was a barrister in British Court in Doughty Street Chambers.
