Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig 21st September, 1983). 21 1982) is a famous American actress. Particularly, she was the character Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. After the divorce of her parents her parents separated, she moved to Worthington in Ohio and moved with her family in Los Angeles. She also was featured as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. The actress also starred on Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal has received critical praise for her leading roles in Secretary (2002 an erotic romantic drama) and Sherrybaby (606) Both of which earned the actress Golden Globe Award nods. She had several commercially successful films, such as World Trade Center. However the role she played as Rachel Dawes that brought her greater attention for her performance in The Dark Knight (2008). The role she played in Crazy Heart as a mother who is a single parent earned her nomination to the Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. In the following years she was a part of comedies and dramatic films: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011, and Won't Back Down 2012. Other roles she has played include Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 an action thriller), musicians in Frank (2014, drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018), and The Kindergarten teacher. The debut of Gyllenhaal as a filmmaker and writer took place in 2021, with The Lost Daughter, a psychological thriller that won her an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. The film also received the Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
