Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16 1984 on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and well-known comedians. The comedian appeared alongside Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Claiodhnadh, or Aisling "Bea", is a popular Irish actor and writer. She was born on March 16, 1984. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011, after appearing in bits in several Irish television shows and British series from 2009. The comedian began to appear often on sketch comedy and sitcoms later in the year. In the wake of her success during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel show. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is a popular contestant of the sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. In 2012 she became the second woman to ever win the So You Believe you're Funny award. Her surname is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Claiodhnadh, born on the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian who was an equine vet, who took his own life at the age of three when Bea turned three, was a suicide victim. She was told about his suicide only after the age of thirteen. She adopted the stage name Bea as a tribute to her father. She also she wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the family's suicide experience. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher jockey trainer and an ex-professional jockey. Their family was in love with racing meetings and horses. Bea was initially a tourist guide for the Irish National Stud. But she quickly realized that her passion was for performing and not racing.
