Michael Keaton, an American actor and director best known for Birdman. A versatile actor, he is able to perform both dramatic and comedic characters. Apart from playing the roles of a romantic, he has also was a part of action films and thrillers. He began to take an interest in performing and acting when the age of his teens and tried his hand at stand-up comedy when he was a young man. He was unsuccessful in his comedy career however this set the way for the success of his acting career. In order to be successful as a comic He was offered a position in the role of a cameraman with the local cable TV station. The job at the station was the first time he realized that it was his dream to be on camera. In a few episodes, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he could land the role on TV. He was a natural actor and gained popularity quickly on television. In his early film careers his aspirations were high and gained acclaim for his comic-book roles. The career of his character was further boosted after he was praised in the role of Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. Over time his acting ability were improved, and he started exploring the possibility of directing and production. The year 2014 saw his appearance as Birdman garnered him many nominations and awards.
